The Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy was a cricket tournament with 20 overs for each team. It was played in the United Arab Emirates at a stadium named after Sheikh Zayed. Six teams from different countries joined the first edition. The ICC, which is the main organization for cricket, approved the tournament in June 2018.
Two teams, Lahore Qalandars from Pakistan and Titans from South Africa, won all their games in their groups and reached the final. Lahore Qalandars became the champions, after they scored fifteen runs more than Titans in the final.

- Boost Defenders – Shpageeza Cricket League, Afghanistan
- Hobart Hurricanes – Big Bash League, Australia
- Lahore Qalandars – Pakistan Super League
- Titans – Ram Slam T20 Challenge, South Africa
- Yorkshire Vikings – Twenty20 Cup, England
- Auckland Aces – Super Smash, New Zealand
